Canada Behind in SOA Adoption
I have had a chance to talk to many leading experts in the area of SOA, and it appears that Canada is following other countries in the adoption of SOA.  Why is this? 
It is hard to understand exactly why this is but my conclusions, after having lived in worked in both Canada and the U.S.; can be chalked up to the fact that Canada is not as entrepreneurial in nature.

Early Adoption efforts in Canada are primarily lead by Government, Healthcare and other government agencies.

So if you are in the SOA business and you are trying to make an entry into this marketplace you need to keep this in mind. The opportunities at this point seem to be in the areas of training and high level consulting.

However once business sees the value in SOA, I think this will be a tipping and Canada will rapidly adopt SOA.
