JavaOne session presents Java 7 enhancements to OSGi API June 3

What:    “Upgrading OSGi” Session TS-4966

This session presents the results of a prototype OSGi framework that provides a modernized API for bundles while still providing backward compatibility with bundles bound to the current API. Presenters will explain how the OSGi API can be enhanced by use of Java 7 platform features. Speakers B.J. Hargrave, IBM, and Peter Kriens, aQute, produced the prototype OSGi framework.

Additionally, a birds of a feather (BOF) meeting is scheduled for OSGi users Thursday, June 4, at 8:30 p.m. in Hall E 133.
